Prayer times work offlineA few things worth checking
Ready to Pray shows calculated prayer start times. Your mosque may publish an adjusted timetable and separate congregation (iqamah) times.
Why do prayer times differ between apps or mosques?
Fajr and Isha methods use different twilight conventions. Asr conventions, location, high-latitude rules and local minute adjustments can also change the result. Choose the settings your community follows and compare them with a trusted local timetable. Read about the calculations.
Do reminders work when this website is closed?
Not yet. Browser reminders currently need this page to stay active; a sleeping browser can delay them. Closed-page push, released native apps and reliable phone-to-watch delivery are still in development. The reminder test helps you check what actually reaches your device.
Can I use prayer times without the internet?
Yes, after the website has loaded and its offline files have been cached. Prayer times and future months calculate on your device. Searching for a new city needs a connection; location access also depends on your device. Read how offline use works.
How does the Qibla compass use my location?
The bearing uses the location you selected. On a phone, you can let the direction sensor turn the compass. Ready to Pray corrects the sensor’s magnetic reading to true north on your device, using the World Magnetic Model. Metal, magnets and an uncalibrated sensor can still affect it, so check the reading when accuracy matters. Read about location and privacy.
